Challenge

The company faced challenges in managing its supply chain, including manual processes, slow execution, and errors in business rules. There was a lack of a clear and automated view of critical data for decision-making, affecting efficiency and agility in strategic actions.

Solution

The solution involved building a robust data structure, migrating manual Excel reports to Power BI. Additionally, interactive and customized dashboards were created for each supply chain area, integrating data into a data lake, facilitating real-time data visualization and analysis.

Project phases

Problem

The company relied heavily on manual processes and Excel reports, leading to errors, lack of agility, and a fragmented view of logistics data. Decision-making was slow, with a high margin of error, negatively impacting operational efficiency.

Objective

The main goal of the project was to transition outdated reports to Power BI, creating new reports from scratch, automating processes, and providing an integrated and data-driven view for supply chain, logistics, and production areas.

Summary

The project was structured into 5 phases, covering over 24 dashboards and 100 interactive screens. Launched in 2021, it lasted three years and resulted in the creation of an interactive and efficient data visualization platform for logistics management, improving decision-making and optimizing critical supply chain processes.

Results

These results boosted the company’s competitiveness, improving operational efficiency, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction and loyalty.
