Intelligent S&OP: a data-supported end-to-end process

Short-term planning spread across 33 spreadsheets (demand, production, and constraints), with granularity limited to product families. Manual inventory management, limited visibility into inventory health and the inventory × constraints relationship, resulting in high logistics costs (air freight), inventory inefficiency, limited use of shared raw materials across similar products, and on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery issues.

We redesigned the process to remove spreadsheets from their strategic role and built dedicated data pipelines to create a single inventory view for logistics operations. The resulting dashboards supported numerous process improvements, each representing a better decision in day-to-day planning.
